BERLIN — A decision on moving forward with a proposal to remediate the former Dummer Yard landfill and create a contaminated soil disposal on the property is several months away.
“We have invested significant resources at the site to better understand how the leachate flows from Dummer yard, and to get a more complete understanding of the contaminants it contains,” said Scott Tranchemontagne, the spokesman for LFOD Northwoods.
