JACKSON — The Whitney Community Center, 16 Black Mountain Road in Jackson, will host a timely and thought-provoking program tonight at 7 p.m. titled “What Makes Putin Tick?” to be presented by Dr. Anthony DeLuca, Professor Emeritus of history at Emerson College.

Few world leaders have captured global attention like Russia’s Vladimir Putin. From his early rise in post-Soviet Russia to his two-decade hold on power, Putin has shaped not only his nation’s trajectory but also international relations in profound and often unsettling ways. The ongoing war in Ukraine has once again thrust him into the spotlight, raising urgent questions about his motives, strategies, and long-term goals.
