MILAN — A Coos County treasure took some unwanted bruising Saturday night.
Sometime on Sept. 27, motorized vehicles — believed to be either ATVs or electric bikes with wide tires — left circular black tire tracks on Route 16 in front of the historic Nansen Ski Jump. Dirt bike marks up the Big Nansen landing hill glared at passersby, some of whom posted their thoughts on the damage on a local social media site on Sunday morning.
