Kayla T. McLain, daughter of Alan and Paula McLain of Berlin, has been named to the spring 2008 dean's list at the University of New England. Dean's list students have attained a grade point average of 3.30 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.

A 2007 graduate of Berlin High School, McLain is a major in the undeclared program at UNE. She will be attending Plymouth State University and is a major in early childhood education.
