BERLIN — Republican Marc Tremblay will be the North Country's newest representative in the New Hampshire Legislature, besting Democrat Corinne Cascadden by a narrow margin in a special election to replace Rep. Brian Valerino (R-Berlin), who resigned earlier this year. 

The special election to fill a state representative seat was held Nov. 4 in conjunction with voting on city offices.
