BERLIN — Berlin fought hard in Concord to make its need for education funding known to lawmakers, and on Tuesday Gov. Chris Sununu came to Berlin with a symbol of that effort.

The governor presented city and school officials with a ceremonial check representing the additional $4.7 million the city will receive over this fiscal year and next. The presentation was made during an assembly at the Berlin Middle High School.
