BERLIN — Two scenarios for the future of the bankrupt Burgess BioPower biomass facility are outlined in a settlement agreement scheduled for a hearing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware on Dec. 18.

Unable to repay financing provided to operate the facility during the bankruptcy and with limited liquidity to conduct business, the proposed agreement is described as “a last-ditch effort” to find a path to reorganizing.
