GORHAM — The selectmen spent nearly two hours meeting in public session on Thursday, Dec. 28, at its first session in which newly hired town manager Mark Shea was in the top slot.

Prior to that, the board met for 80 minutes in executive session with assessor George “Skip” Sansoucy. Later, in public, the trio voted unanimously in favor of two contracts with his firm, both for a sum as yet uncertain. The first covers disputed BTLA commercial properties, and the second pickups of public utility and special purpose properties. The selectmen held another executive session after the public session was concluded.
