CONWAY — Join presenter John Howell, a former Southern radio deejay and current consultant to the Delta Blues Museum, for a listening party at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, in the Majestic Theatre.
Howell will share the rich history and music of the Delta, which inspired Bob Dylan and Delta blues artists like Muddy Waters, Charley Patton, Son House, and Robert Johnson. These artists’ “deep blues” made up the foundation of much modern popular music.
