LANCASTER — A planned April 24 public hearing on a proposal to make Coos County a Second Amendment Sanctuary has been postponed because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Coos County Delegation Chair Rep. Wayne Moynihan said the public hearing will have to wait until the governor’s order limiting gathering to ten people is lifted. He promised the public hearing will be held at the first practical date once the order is lifted.
