ANDROSCOGGIN VALLEY — Public schools are closed, scores of activities have been cancelled and local stores are struggling to keep toilet paper and hand sanitizers on shelves as the region responds to the Coronavirus.

But local officials stressed schools, hospitals, municipal governments, and agencies are all working together to protect residents and make the actions required to prevent the spread of the virus as least disruptive as possible.
