CONCORD — Attorney General John M. Formella announces that members of the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are responding to a report of an officer-involved shooting that occurred Thursday evening in Milan, New Hampshire.

The incident reportedly occurred on West Milan Road as members of the Berlin Police Department were dispatched to a home at a resident’s request to remove an adult male from the home. During the officers’ interaction with the male, gunshots were fired and the adult male was injured. He was transported to a hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention.
