BERLIN — A local woman was seriously injured in a snowmobile accident on Corridor 19 just north of Route 110 on Tuesday.

Fish and Game reported that Judith Asetta, 71, of Jefferson was traveling north at about noon when she lost control of her snowmobile at the edge of the trail. Unable to regain control of the snowmobile, Asetta was thrown from the machine while ended up on its side. Her husband rushed to Asetta’s aid while a passerby called Berlin police dispatch.
