FRYEBURG, Maine — Although they are an undeniable draw, beyond the “Maine Cabin Masters,” there will be many reasons to enjoy attending all three days of the Home Garden Flower Show with Cannabis this year.

The biggest reason? Multi-day tickets: A single-day admission is good for all three days, allowing for repeat visits.

But there are many others. For example, live music starting at 3:30 p.m. each day featuring Jon Sarty and Ray Ryan on Friday, the Carolyn Ramsay Trio on Saturday and the Jonathan Sarty Band on Sunday.

Also, for the first time, full pours of beer and wine will be served in the Specialty Building, where oysters will be available by the bushelful, courtesy of the shuckers at 302 West Smokehouse.

Of course, the exhibitors are what many people come to view, and there will be plenty to see: 150 exhibitors offering everything you need for home and garden improvement.

After its roaring success last year, the Cannabis Building is returning, with more than 25 exhibitors, selling a variety of CBD products as well as items for home use and cultivation.

Got a few minutes to spare? You could win Story Land tickets at our cornhole tournaments taking place from noon-3 p.m. each day.

Hungry? There will be 13 food trucks and vendors offering a wide variety of culinary delights, including barbecue, wood-fired pizza, vegan delicacies and deep-fried items from all your favorite food groups.

Still hungry? Meet the Chefs cooking demonstrations, a show favorite, will feature chefs from the Mount Washington Valley’s best restaurants demonstrating tasty recipes (and offering samples).

The show’s major sponsors are North Conway Olive Oil Co. (platinum); Dirfy Generators (gold); and The Glass Cook (silver). Major product sponsors are Pete’s Restaurant Equipment, Think Kitchen and Lodge cookware.

Make sure to mark May 17-19 on your calendar and then plan to visit the home show either one or all three days.

The show will run 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, May 17; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 18; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds.
