BERLIN — Mayor Paul Grenier has endorsed Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky in the Democratic primary for governor.

The mayor said he is supporting Volinsky because of his work to get school funding restored in the current budget and his long battle to get the state to fulfill its legal obligation to provide an adequate education to all students.
