PITTSBURG — Despite the efforts of his riding companions and other rescuers, a Freedom man died Friday after authorities believe he suffered a medical emergency while snowmobiling in the Diamond Ridge area in Pittsburg.

N.H. Fish and Game said Mark Lamothe, 64, of Freedom, was riding with a group of coworkers on snowmobiles they had rented earlier that day.
