According to Fish and Game, rescuers have been staying busy with numerous emergencies involving hiking and vehicular incidents over the past week.

On Wednesday, July 23, a local man who had been walking his dogs fell down an embankment off Ronald Road in Albany. According to Sgt. Alex Lopachanski, “shortly after 2 a.m., New Hampshire Fish and Game was notified that Samuel Farrington, 82, of Albany, called 911 for assistance. Farrington had been walking his dogs and slipped and fell down an embankment.”
