Dog abuse case sentencing pushed to January

BERLIN — An animal abuse case that began in September 2016 with an investigation into the neglectful treatment of an American Bully dog named Carmella is not yet concluded.

The investigation led to the arrest of Pamela Mansulla, 33, and John Dumas, 37, both of Berlin, charged with 44 misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals in April of 2017.
