BERLIN — Attorney John Tobin told the city council Monday night he first saw the inequity of the state’s education funding as a young parent at a budget hearing in Berlin.
“You sacrifice a lot for your school. You should be proud of that,” he said, as he discussed the burden the current system places on property-poor communities like Berlin.
