CONCORD — On Oct. 22, the U.S. Supreme Court stayed the District Court’s Oct. 2 injunction in a case challenging HB 323, which the legislature enacted to prohibit the use of student ID cards when registering to vote and voting.

The Supreme Court’s decision means that registration and identity requirements for the Nov. 3 State General Election revert to the same as those that were in effect during the Sept. 8 State Primary Election.
