BERLIN — The city is seeking a half million dollar block grant to upgrade the heating and ventilation in the Notre Dame Apartments.

Once the site of a cross-town schoolboy hockey rivalry, the school-turned-senior-apartment building at 411 School St. is now owned by AHEAD (Affordable Housing Education and Development), which is headquartered in Littleton.
