LANCASTER — A Berlin man has been sentenced to serve up to six years in prison after being convicted earlier this fall on criminal threatening and gun charges.

Following a three-day jury trial in the Coos Superior Court that concluded on Oct. 3, a Coos County jury returned guilty verdicts against former Berlin resident Richard Casse for all seven charges brought by the state through the Coos County Attorney’s Office, including five counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, firearm; one count of criminal threatening; and one count of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
