BERLIN — The second annual Community Resource Fair at Berlin Elementary School last week allowed the school to highlight programs available to the community while also meeting parents face-to-face, all part of Parent-Teacher Conference Day.

After parents, guardians or caregivers had the chance to learn from the respective educator how a child was doing in the classroom, the adults were able to speak with a range of professionals who can smooth the path of child raising and guidance. Opportunities for adults, such as returning to school for additional training for job advancement and employment skills’ training, were part of the 8 a.m.-3 p.m. fair as well.
