BERLIN — City property taxpayers will not receive their tax bills until the new year as the board of assessors continues to have concerns with the recent statistical update of residential values for the 2018 tax year.

The board spent over two hours discussing the update at its Dec. 19 meeting and tabled it to allow the board to investigate further. The board will also meet this Thursday with the city’s utility and industrial appraiser, George Sansoucy.
