LANCASTER — A Berlin man was found guilty in Coos County Superior Court last week of two counts of second degree assault with a deadly weapon.

Cory Bernard, 40, of 2 Birch St., Berlin was charged with stabbing the victim in the hand and leg with a pair of scissors on Dec. 26. The victim ended up at the emergency room at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.
