BERLIN — A Berlin man was arrested April 24 on a variety of drug charges and firearm charges as a result of a coordinated effort by law enforcement.

Berlin police reported Timothy Bishop, 52, of 666 Hampshire St. was arrested on two counts of sale of a controlled drug-subsequent charge, six counts of conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug, and one count of sale of a firearm without a license. The charges came after law enforcement executed a search warrant of his home. All nine charges are felonies and carry a jail sentence.
