BERLIN — U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Laurie Selber Silverstein on Tuesday afternoon approved a reorganization plan for Burgess BioPower that allows the 75-watt biomass plant to exit bankruptcy.

The amended reorganization plan approved has the senior lenders swapping debt for equity, with the lenders holding claims worth well over $100 million. General unsecured creditors would see no recovery of funds.
