"Dr. Karen Grosz will no longer serve as president of New Hampshire Community Technical College (NHCTC) Berlin/Laconia, effectively immediately." With this terse statement Claudette Mahar, chair of the New Hampshire Community Technical College System Board of Trustees, yesterday announced the end of Grosz's short, sometimes stormy, stint at the helm.

Officials of the System refused further comment and efforts to reach Grosz failed.
