The sale of the Gorham paper mill to New York-based Patriarch Partners was completed Friday morning. The new owner said it will begin refurbishing the mill immediately and plans to have the towel machine up and running within five weeks. Patriarch Partners said it hopes to have all three paper machines in operation within 90 days and most of the laid-off paper workers back to work.

“We are extremely excited to have finalized this transaction and look forward to the journey of rebuilding and revitalizing the business,” said Lynn Tilton, founder and CEO of Patriarch.
