The Benson Action Team is up and running with its first meeting held last Saturday.

Gov. Craig Benson appointed Mayor Robert Danderson with chairing and setting up a committee to study the economy of the rural western and northern sections of the state. The committee will identify problems facing the economic growth of the regions and make recommendations to Benson.
