The city council served notice last night that it wants to be involved in discussions about using N.H. Community Development Finance Funds to hire a full-time economic development director for the Androscoggin Valley.

City Manager Patrick MacQueen told the council that the Chamber of Commerce and the Androscoggin Valley Economic Recovery Corporation are working on a structure that would allow hiring a full-time economic development person using the $240,000 in CDFA funds.
