Clean Power Development will impact some wetlands in building its proposed biomass plant. To compensate, N.H. Department of Environmental Services requires the developer to protect some alternate land.

The city council Monday night endorsed a plan to allow Clean Power to purchase an easement on city-owned land on Mt. Jasper.
