The city council is asking for public input on changing street names and house numbers to comply with E-911 guidelines. A public meeting is set for Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at the city hall auditorium.

Bruce Cheney, head of emergency communications for the state, will attend the meeting as will the bureau’s engineering technician and a representative of the Post Office.
