Time to wet a line at the Groveton Fish & Game Club

GROVETON — Here’s a great opportunity to get kids unplugged and outside. The Groveton Fish & Game Club invites all kids age 4-12 to the Otis Shannon Memorial Kids’ Fishing Derby at the Club’s grounds, 1099 Lost Nation Road, Groveton, on Sunday, June 7.

This is a free event and pre-registration is not required. Show up at 9 a.m. to register and get ready for some pole-bending action. The pond will be heavily stocked with brook and rainbow trout. Anglers will compete by age groups and there will be fun prizes and giveaways.
