Richard H. Rosen, entrepreneur, engineer, teacher, devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather, and generous friend and mentor to many, died on Sept. 9, 2026, at the age of 87.

Richard was born on April 12, 1939, in Cambridge, Mass. He spent his early childhood in Brookline before his family moved to Newton, where he graduated from Newton High School in 1956. He served in the United States Army Reserve as a Private First Class for seven years, where he was assigned to a military base beautification effort to plant trees.
