Rene Fauteux

Rene R. Fauteux, 86, formerly of Berlin, N.H., died peacefully at his home in Leesburg, Fla., on July 18, 2024, after a period of failing health, with family by his side.

Born in 1938 to the late Sylvio Fauteux and Emelda (Cote) Fauteux, Rene graduated from Berlin High School in 1956 and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After completing basic training, he dedicated 8 years of service to the USMC Reserves. Upon honorable discharge, Rene worked at Curtis Hardware, Eagle Oil, Granite State Rubber Co. and also as a purchasing agent for Morris Company.
