David Rosenberg, 93, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born in Berlin on December 8, 1929, the son of the late Ira and Fannie (Forman) Rosenberg and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Berlin High with the Class of 1947 and served in the US Air Force. David had been employed as a millwright and retired from James River Corp in 1994. He was a member of the Gorham-Sabatis Lodge F. & A.M. in Gorham, the Scottish Rite Bodies Lodge of Perfection in Lancaster, the Princes of Jerusalem; Chapter of Rose Croix in Littleton, the NH Consistory Valley of Nashua and the F.O.E.
He is survived by his daughters Polly A. Rosenberg of Holly Ridge, N.C., Robin E. Fortier and husband Robert of Berlin, and Carolyn Long and husband Paul of Bellows Falls, Vt.; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Jean Louise Rosenberg, son Gary S. Rosenberg, a grandson Michael Lemieux, Jr. and siblings Oscar Rosenberg, Saul Rosenberg, Carl Rosenberg, William Rosenberg, Betty Albert, and Sylvia Stiles.
