A military service was held for James N. Parker, Sr., of Berlin, on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Cheetham Mortuary, in Pawtucket, RI, with Father John Hunt officiating. Military honors were performed at the Exeter Veterans Cemetery, Chapel.

Interment followed the services in Exeter Veterans Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were his son, James Parker, Jr.; son-in-law, Thomas Schillinger, and brother, Joseph Packer.
