WHITEFIELD — The first team captain meeting for the upcoming Relay For Life of North Country will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19. This year the meetings will take place in the meeting room at the new Summit by Morrison in Whitefield. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. preceded by the committee meeting at 5 p.m.
The Relay For Life of North Country is growing from year to year. Last year 21 teams joined together to raise over $60,000. However, there is always room for more teams and more participants. Anyone interested in forming or joining a team should come to the meeting to get the information needed to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
