GROVETON — The Groveton Fish and Game Club invites all kids ages 4-12 to the Otis Shannon Memorial Kid’s Fishing Derby on Sunday, June 2, on the club’s grounds at 1099 Lost Nation Road, Groveton.
This is a free event and pre-registration is not required. Registration is at 9 a.m. Get ready for some pole-bending action. The pond will be heavily stocked with brook and rainbow trout. Anglers will compete by age groups and there will be fun prizes. After the competition, kids are welcome to fish in the pond for fun. Bring your own equipment and bait.
