The Gorham Emergency Medical Association will hold an American Heart Association healthcare provider course on from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 31 at the Gorham Fire Station.

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including providing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device and oxygen; use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).
