Tax bill fix will provide relief for taxes on water infrastructure investments

WASHINGTON D.C.— U.S. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Ark.) unveiled new, bipartisan legislation that would fix an unfair measure in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which has led to exorbitant taxes on critical water infrastructure investments in New Hampshire, Alaska and across the nation.

Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) is also a cosponsor of the bill.
