JACKSON — Black Mountain and the town of Jackson sent a Superior Court judge written arguments last week, each explaining why their side should prevail in a case seeking documents related to complaints about Black Mountain Ski Area’s 90th anniversary celebration on May 3.

Black Mountain owner and general manager Erik Mogensen is seeking documentation of complaints that Jackson Police Chief Chris Perley claims were made in relation to the May celebration, which featured live music, fireworks and allegedly involved public drinking and parking violations.
