Hurray, it’s finally May! It is time to get down to some serious spring weather and activities. Among spring chores like cleaning up the yard and flower beds, putting away ski stuff, and finding window screens, there are all those spring pleasures. Grilling outside, sitting on a sunny porch, and going to grandkids’ ball games start to happen when wintry weather goes away. May is a welcomed awakening from winter- spring is blossoming everywhere!
For bicyclists, May is an exciting month. Oh, to be cranking those wheels again, feeling wind and sun against your face, scenery rolling by-it’s pure joy! Never mind cold temperatures, wet pavement and butt, sandy roads and muddy trails, to be biking again is a cyclist’s nirvana.
