WHITEFIELD — Award-winning violinist Miho Saegusa will join the North Country Chamber Players for Virtuoso Bach, the opening concerts of the White Mountains Music Festival. The concert takes place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, at the Mountain View Grand Resort in Whitefield.

Virtuoso Bach explores the music of one of the world’s most beloved composers, Johann Sebastian Bach. Bach’s repertoire included over 1,100 works, but only 28 of these can be called “concertos.” These special pieces are masterful examples where virtuosity, power and beauty are both balanced and in full force. Saegusa will join the Players in the "Concerto for Violin and Oboe," "Brandenburg Concerto No. 2" and other masterpieces.
