COLEBROOK and LANCASTER — If you are a music lover and are looking for an opportunity to get out on the town then consider the weekend of Feb. 29-March 1 as your time. Trinity Baptist Church in Colebrook, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster will take turns hosting some feel-good country and gospel music with the well-known and loved area band "Comfort Country."
Made up of lifelong musicians Lee Baker, Tim Berry, Joanne Gilman and Suzan Shute, this band offers an upbeat show that will drive out the late winter doldrums. With superb musicianship and great entertainment they will present a variety of old-chestnut country songs as well as a blend of gospel tunes to lift your spirit.
