LANCASTER — There will be a 4-H Special Interest (SPIN) Small Engine Discovery workshop series to be held in Lancaster, Tuesday evenings; May 26 through June 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
4-H SPIN Groups give youth the freedom to create short-term events on topics of special interest to them without the long-term commitment to a traditional 4-H Club. Youth will discover how to take apart and rebuild a 4-stroke small engine. They will learn about different tools, terms and procedures needed for maintaining a lawn mower or other small engine. This is a fun, hands-on, let's get dirty workshop open to all youth ages 10-18, not just for current 4-H members. Space is limited. Registration is required. For more information, contact Coös County 4-H office at (603) 788-4961 or email christine.whiting@unh.edu
