CONCORD — The New Hampshire Poetry Society announced that nominations are now open for the position of N.H. Youth Poet Laureate. This is an honorary one-year position to be held by a New Hampshire high school student who has shown both dedication to and excellence in writing, and who demonstrates the enthusiasm to share it with the public.

The N.H. Youth Poet Laureate serves as an ambassador who will heighten the visibility and value of poetry among young people in New Hampshire. The deadline to submit nominations is May 24.
