WHITEFIELD — The holidays will get a jolt of Nashville sparkle when acclaimed vocal group Mark209 brings its Country Christmas to the Community Baptist Church, 27 Jefferson Road, Whitefield, on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m.

Known for roof-raising harmonies and down-home showmanship, MARK209 has won fans with appearances from the Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls, N.Y., to community celebrations across the country. Baritone Roger Golden is a cousin of William Lee Golden of The Oak Ridge Boys, bass Joe Lee Armstrong is famed for notes “off the end of the piano,” and the group has recorded with Nashville heavyweight producer Kent Wells (noted for his work with Dolly Parton). Tenor Nathaniel Justice brings entertainment chops spanning TV and, most recently, a duet with Pam Tillis on Pat Boone’s “One Voice for Tanzania.”
