Spring is here, which means it is time for Da Capo concerts. This popular Mount Washington Valley choral group, will be performing a series of concerts in Lovell, Albany, Bridgton and Jackson. Da Capo’s spring performance is directed by John Waldie, featuring accompaniment by Patrick Speckamp and a variety of local instrumentalists. Da Capo performs diverse musical genres, from pop, jazz, folk, rock and Broadway. This series of concerts will feature music from Chicago, The Who, Megan Trainor, Barry Manilow, Kool and the Gang, as well as a nod to the United States of America’s 250th anniversary. Da Capo is sure to entertain audiences of all ages, through their energy, enthusiasm and talented voices.
Da Capo will start off the concert series at the Brick Church for the Performing Arts in Lovell, Maine on Thursday, June 11 at 7:00 pm. Next, they will be at Tin Mountain in Albany, NH on Friday, June 12 at 7:00 pm. Da Capo will then travel to Bridgton, Maine, performing at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 pm. Sunday, June 14 will round out the concert series with a performance at the Whitney Community Center in Jackson at 4:00 pm. Admission at all venues is $15 cash/check at the door.
